Meet the Gang

These “pages” contain the private journals of my loyal bees who worked every day to cultivate the spirit of the Bear. They should be commended for their efforts, even in their incomplete success. They have preserved his spirit throughout the time their time in his service allowing him to continue to protect us. The envelope had a USB stick with an audio file linked which contained a birdcall and a feather

Maybe the museum has an example of that bird that I can examine for clues.

I found it.

The word is definitely a number, I’m thinking its 11.8

I have so much going on. Why the hell is the prelate assigning us more shit to do?

 I'll get around to it I guess. 

This is a strange ass letter. It's one sentence, no context. 

“Odysseus ate with relish the inner organs of beasts and fowls. He liked thick giblet soup, nutty gizzards, a stuffed roast heart, liverslices fried with crustcrumbs, fried hencods' roes. Most of all he liked grilled mutton kidneys which gave to his palate a fine tang of faintly scented urine.”

Of course I got the absolutely disgusting one.

There is also a set of numbers attached, maybe it's a book cypher? Ill go check the library for the book.

I’ll just drop off a translation off at the prelate’s office for him to use all the words to create a counter-curse or whatever he is up to.

Quick summary,

Letter’s text is: 「山がつの___にたけるしばしばも

with a citation to 岩波文庫源氏物語、48

After searching for the translation of that section I found one in the Royall Tyler edition of the book.

The missing word has to be the word that Grizz is searching for.

Well this is the best I got, Ill just drop this at his office.

I got a bunch of Spreadsheets! In my letter! I better digitize them real quick to make them more accessible.

Yay, this seems to be a set of spreadsheets for the double entry bookkeeping for the Society of the Spirit of Grizz (SoG). Something is wrong here it doesn’t quite seem correct. I better figure out why.
